Remaine Kelly
My Mother, Nancy Kelly, and I paint together at the Art Centre here in Mornington Island. We both paint about her and her Mum's Country, Baralkia, up at the top end of Mornington Island, where we spend many good times together camping, fishing and hunting with the rest of the family. It's a place of big big oysters. We still use the stone fishtraps that the old people built along the coast. I am the eldest child, so I helped Mum with the other 2 kids when they were younger. Now I've got my own little family and Mum helps me out with my kids.
