The story in this book is not a traditional Lardil story but it has been told on Mornington Island for a long time now. Phil Jack made this tory up and used to tell it to children in the 1970s. Lardil language was later added by Joseph Watt and this version was performed in 1999 by Year 5 students as a play at their end of year concert. Most recently, Creole language has been added.
